Sounds of Solstice

  • Clinic 51 Dye House Lane Petworth, England, GU28 0LF United Kingdom (map)

Honour the Winter Solstice with ritual, ceremony and sound.

At the Winter Solstice, we reach the depths of darkness—the shortest day and longest night of the year, before we tip back into the waxing part of the year once more.

Join me to honour the dark and celebrate the emergent light with a candle-lit evening of restful rituals and receiving.

Upon arrival, feel the warm embrace of togetherness while savouring a cup of Ceremonial Cacao. This gentle yet potent plant elixir awakens something ancient and ritualistic within, allowing us to embrace this liminal phase while expanding our heart awareness—opening to our own medicine and creating fertile ground to receive vibrations of the Alchemy Crystal Singing bowls.

Escape the pressures of this season to lay down your bones down and soften into winter’s cradle—an invitation for presence and peace to focus your inner energy and connect with winter spirit.

What to Expect

  • A candle ritual and cacao ceremony infused with plant essences

  • A guided journey, to lead you in to the sound

  • Alchemy Crystal Sound Bath

  • Optional sharing circle with space for reflection and integration

  • Oracle cards and healthy seasonal treats

What is Cacao?

Cacao is chocolate in its rawest, purest form, grown for ceremonial purposes, and known for its heart-opening warmth and sacred properties. Drinking Cacao is like being wrapped in the arms of our mother, her spirit is gentle and reassuring enabling you to dissolve any barriers to tune into your feeling heart.

Cacao is a plant medicine and should be honoured with ritual, that’s how you get the most from her. Considered a superfood, cacao is rich in minerals and vitamins and a magic ingredient theobromine, which lifts mood, eases anxiety and connects you with your heart.

*Contraindications

Ceremonial doses of Cacao is not recommended anyone who has a serious heart condition or takes heart medication, those who have high blood pressure or suffer from epilepsy.

Pregnant women should take a smaller, lower dose. If you’re unsure please consult your doctor for professional advice. In parts of the world where cacao is still used as medicine, it is given to mothers directly after birth as a blessing ritual and to help her regain strength and iron levels after birth.
