Sound Interwoven

An immersive sound journey through the spheres of  Cello, Crystal Alchemy Singing Bowls, flute and Shamanic drum.

Join Garwyn and I for a unique tea ceremony and sound journey weaving Cello with the vibrations of Crystal Alchemy singing bowls. Gathering on the cusp of Imbolc, we will honour the transition from Winter to Spring, receiving the medicine of Birch to illuminate the path ahead.

This is a magical time of transition, inner growth, inspiration and purification. This phase offers us a conduit between Winter and Spring as we grow within ourselves, the potential for what comes next.

Although February can be one of the coldest months in our Northern Hemisphere, it also carries the promise of re-emergence. Even before the snow melts and the earth thaws, we see the first green spears and flowers appear - the sweet snowdrops raising their delicate heads, later the Alder and hazel coming into bloom. Although life remains 'in the belly' (a common translation of the word Imbolc), we are invited to visualise what lies ahead to clear the path for what's to come.

Our evening will begin with a traditional tea ceremony, receiving the medicine of Silver Birch - the tree of enchantment and new beginnings. Birch is one of the first trees to leaf in spring, symbolising renewal and a blossoming future. Known as the 'way-shower,' she carries the energy of emergence, awakening us from the deep inward process to ascend with new purpose and potential.

Once we have received her medicine, we will lay and listen, bathed in sounds Interwoven - to find crystalline clarity and insight. We will guide you through a shamanic journey to lead you in and out of the sound, and there will be the opportunity to share afterwards, should you wish.
